Week 10 of 10: The Questions That Change Everything
Ten weeks ago, we began this journey together with two simple words.
What if?
At first, those words seemed harmless.
Almost ordinary.
But as we walked together, we discovered they carried extraordinary power.
Because every meaningful discovery begins with a question.
Questions have changed nations.
Questions have advanced science.
Questions have transformed medicine.
Questions have unlocked the mysteries of the universe.
Why should our pursuit of God be any different?
For generations, many believers have quietly carried questions they were afraid to ask.
Not because they lacked faith.
But because they feared what others might think.
Some wondered if asking difficult questions dishonored God.
Others feared they might discover something unsettling.
Still others simply accepted that some questions were never meant to be explored.
But over these past ten weeks, I hope you have discovered something different.
God has never been threatened by honest seekers.
The Bible Was Written for Thinkers
One of the greatest misconceptions about Christianity is that faith and thoughtful inquiry stand opposed to one another.
The Bible tells a different story.
Abraham questioned.
Moses questioned.
David questioned.
Habakkuk questioned.
Jeremiah questioned.
Job questioned.
Thomas questioned.
Even the disciples repeatedly struggled to understand what Jesus was teaching them.
Yet none of these individuals were rejected because they asked sincere questions.
Instead, God met them in the middle of their search.
Sometimes with answers.
Sometimes with greater mystery.
But always with His presence.
Perhaps that is one of the greatest lessons we can learn.
God often reveals Himself during the search—not merely at the destination.
What We Have Learned Together
Together we have explored…
The unseen realm.
Ancient writings connected to Scripture.
The mystery surrounding Enoch.
The possibility that evil preceded humanity.
The deeper purpose of Eden.
The image of God.
The identity of heavenly beings.
The layered nature of prophecy.
The reality of spiritual warfare.
And through every question, one truth continued to emerge.
The Bible is not smaller than we imagined.
It is larger.
Deeper.
More beautiful.
More interconnected.
More breathtaking.
The more we study it, the more we realize we have only begun to understand the greatness of God’s revelation.
Faith Is Not the Absence of Questions
Real faith is not pretending to know everything.
Real faith is trusting the One who does.
The strongest believers I have ever known were not people who never struggled.
They were people who continued seeking God in the middle of their struggles.
Who continued praying when they did not understand.
Who continued studying when answers did not come quickly.
Who continued trusting even when mystery remained.
Faith does not eliminate mystery.
Faith gives us the courage to walk through it.
The Question That Changed My Life
People often ask me why I wrote What If.
The answer is remarkably simple.
Because years ago I stopped being satisfied with inherited answers.
I wanted to know not only what I believed…
I wanted to understand why.
I wanted to read Scripture slowly.
To wrestle with difficult passages.
To understand the world of the Bible instead of merely reading isolated verses.
I wanted to know the God behind the pages.
That journey changed my life.
It deepened my worship.
It strengthened my confidence in Scripture.
It increased my awe of God’s wisdom.
And it convinced me that the greatest danger to faith is not honest questions.
The greatest danger is no longer asking them.
The Journey Has Only Begun
If you have been with me through these first ten weeks, thank you.
You have become part of something much larger than a blog series.
You have become part of a community of seekers.
People who believe that truth is worth pursuing.
People who believe God’s Word can withstand honest examination.
People who understand that humility and curiosity are not enemies of faith—they are companions on the journey.
But I have good news.
We’re only getting started.

The purpose has never been to make the Bible more mysterious.
The purpose has always been to reveal how magnificent it truly is.
So let me leave you with the same two words that started this entire journey.
