Carl began leading church music at sixteen and later served in music and youth ministry before becoming a pastor.The Churches he lead grew significantly under his ministry, but a personal crisis ended his ministry and marriage—failures he openly acknowledges. Afterward, he moved into business leadership while continuing to teach and write, publishing Talking With God—His Way in 2013. His Message: While spiritual failure can be devastating, with God’s help it can prepare a person to understand truth and used again in His Kingdoms work.
Meet Carl.
Carl Schulz is a faith-based author, teacher, musician, and former pastor whose writing is forged from Scripture, leadership experience, personal failure, and spiritual restoration.
Raised on a small farm in Southwest Oklahoma, Carl grew up in a deeply committed Christian home. His father was a deacon, both parents served faithfully in the church, and his grandfather was a country preacher who instilled in him a lifelong reverence for God s Word. Carl committed his life to Christ at age seven.
Many people claim to believe in God, yet their lives often fail to reflect what they profess. This disconnect reveals a deeper issue. What If belief that does not shape behavior cannot truly be called belief.
My mission is to help people know God personally, grow in spiritual truth, and experience transformation through teaching, writing, ministry service, and meaningful community engagement opportunities.
